The temptation with a building is to empty it and shoot it like a model. Rooms read better with some evidence of life in them: a chair pulled out, a light on, somebody crossing the frame. I shoot both, because the brochure and the website usually want different things.
Verticals stay vertical, interior lighting is balanced against what is coming through the windows, and exteriors are shot at the hour the building looks like itself rather than the hour I happened to arrive.
