Industrial spaces mean difficult light and tight access, and most photography that comes out of them looks like either a safety poster or a stock library. The useful version shows the scale of the place and the skill of the people in it, and that takes time on the floor rather than a fast pass with a wide lens.
I work to your PPE and permit rules, stay out of the way of the process, and agree beforehand what cannot be photographed — commercially sensitive kit, customer product, or faces that should not appear.
